The tour begins along the coastal road, admiring the splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, towards the West through the historic cities of Elefsina and Megara. The first stop is at the Corinth Canal, a perfect spot to take photos. After driving through the hills of Corinth and the mountains of Arcadia, we arrive at the birthplace of the Olympic Games, where you will visit the archaeological site of Ancient Olympia and the museum.

The tour to Meteora begins by driving along the highway road to Mainland Greece. We’ll stop shortly at Thermopylae, where you’ll have the chance to visit the monument of Leonidas, the heroic King of Sparta.

ANCIENT CORINTH

The tour begins along the coastal road, admiring the splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, towards the West through the historic cities of Elefsina and Megara. The first stop is at the Corinth Canal, a place where the northern part and the southern part of Greece are joined via a bridge while the canal links the western part with the eastern part of Greece. Twenty minutes later you will arrive at the small town of Ancient Corinth, the most important commercial hub of the ancient world, until threatened by Athens. Walking along the ruins of the ancient city, the baths and the temple of Apollo you will get an idea of this remarkable place which was considered the richest city in the ancient world.

Next you'll be driven to visit Acrocorinth, the acropolis of ancient Corinth, where an imposing fortress was later built in the site. From there the view to the four points of the horizon is stunning.

Once we reach Livadia, we will get off the national road and continue our drive to the mountain of Parnassos.

Cape Sounion is noted as the site of ruins of an ancient Greek temple of Poseidon, the god of the sea in classical mythology. The remains are perched on the headland, surrounded on three sides by the sea. The ruins bear the deeply engraved name of English Romantic poet Lord Byron.
